More than double the amount of pre-registration for the Samsung Galaxy S5 than its predecessor
Carphone Warehouse said that interest in Samsung Galaxy S5 is already ahead of what he received for S4 last year laptop.
The dealer says that indicates that a "broken record" for the S5, how the figure was reached after just three days of pre-registration, compared to ten all day for the launch of S4.
"Samsung has clearly built a very loyal fanbase and S5 Galaxy looks set to become one of the biggest ever selling cellphones," said Carl Cowling, Managing Director of Carphone Warehouse.
The company provides no specific detail on the amount of people who had registered their interest when asked by Mobile News.
Samsung would be happy if the S5 saw anywhere near the same level of interest as his sister. All major retailers and operators were able to fulfill the pre-orders at launch S4 last year, when the laptop went on to sell over 10 million units in its first month.
